About the role:
Our energy division is now welcoming applications from experienced customer service professionals seeking a new opportunity in a thriving department. Working as part of a busy Customer Service team, you will be the first point of contact for all inbound customer related queries via phone and email. This role will require someone with excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to demonstrate empathy and care for customers as needed. You will also work alongside various departments such as sales, complaints, collections, billing to address customer queries in a timely manor.
Main areas of responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service to both new and existing customers, ensuring their needs are met efficiently and professionally.
- Ensure strict adherence to GDPR regulations and compliance guidelines in all interactions and data handling.
- Manage a high volume of inbound customer calls with a polite, professional, and solution-focused approach.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve customer queries promptly and effectively.
- Maintain and update customer accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely record-keeping.
- Handle customer communications via email, responding promptly and following up as needed.
- Process customer payments accurately, ensuring all transactions are recorded in a timely manner.
- Update customer account details and personal information, maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
- Perform additional administrative tasks as required, supporting the overall team and business operations.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of experience working in a customer service role, ideally in a call centre or office. This person should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, busy environment, working towards individual and team SLA's. This role will require someone with excellent communication skills, with the ability to show empathy and compassion to customers as needed. They should be able to multi-task, while maintaining excellent attention to detail and accuracy in their work. Proficient IT skills will also be essential for this role.
