The Opportunity:
Avantor is looking for a Customer Service Associate (f/m/d) in Dublin. In this role, you will be the driving force behind delivering excellent customer service and internal account management to our key customers.
This full-time role will be based out of our Dublin office with regular home office available. Next to an attractive salary, we offer a performance-based bonus plan, private healthcare, 25 days holiday, a company car & fuel card, as well as a company pension scheme. Interested? - Let’s talk!
Working hours: Monday-Friday with two days from the office and the rest from home (37,5 working hours/week in total)
The team
You will be part of the customer service team consisting of eight supportive colleagues. Your growth is important to us, which is why we not only offer all the necessary tools to perform your job well but also the training to develop yourself further.
What we’re looking for
Education: Completed Leaving Certificate
Experience: Initial customer service experience, ideally in a B2B setting
Qualifications:
- You provide consistently high levels of customer service, build strong relationships and feel comfortable with autonomously handling complex queries and questions
- Working against set KPIs and deadlines is not new to you
- MS Office is your day-to-day tool for all admin-related tasks
- Previous SAP knowledge a distinct advantage
- Prior experience within the Life Sciences industry a distinct advantage (but not essential). If the industry if new for you, you should bring a curiosity for Science!
- Highly professional written and verbal communication skills
- You work proactively, seeking out solutions and managing your own workload efficiently

How you will thrive and create an impact
- Process orders and manage deliveries (including creating, viewing, displaying and listing sales orders and order confirmations) for various customers
- Support the internal account management for key customers
- Offer resolutions on queries to customers
- Ensure customers receive all necessary regulatory certifications
- Advise customers of delivery dates and status of orders
- Resolve complex customer issues such as pricing and margin blocks
- Effectively handle customer complaints and reach timely resolution
- Works alongside finance in resolving invoice queries for customers
- Coordinate with Finance regarding pricing, account setup and charges
- Update and validate all relevant customer information on our CRM
- Monitor open orders, blanket order, forecasts and virtual stock for customers
