About the role:
We are on the lookout for a Customer Service Officer to join our friendly team!

As part of our Customer Service team, you will get the opportunity to learn all about our business, use your exceptional customer service skills and get a great grounding in the thriving hydraulics industry.

You also get the chance to start a learning pathway that can provide you with great training and loads of opportunities to progress your career - think Area Sales Manager or Mobile Service Technician. Don't limit your career options - because we don't!

Your job will be to help the team ensure the best possible flow of product from Inwards Goods to Dispatch. Our goal is to make sure the right product is in the right place at the right time, every time.

What you will be doing:

• Answering incoming calls promptly and responding to customer enquiries
• Providing customers with accurate information
• Processing sales orders into Pronto
• Generating quotes as requested
• Managing customer expectations with lead times and delays or problems with their orders

About the person:
Previous customer service or purchasing experience would be very useful but more important is to be enthusiastic, have a can-do attitude and a great team player. If you have a great attitude and a desire to learn then we can train you!

Ideally, we are looking for someone with:

• Excellent communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a effective team
• Ability to complete tasks accurately and efficiently
• Be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Experience with Pronto highly regarded
• Previous industrial or hose and fitting experience is advantageous
