Description:
About the Role

Reporting to the Customer Service Lead, the Customer Service Officer – Project Estimating is responsible for preparing cost estimates by analysing proposals and project requirements. The role involves clear and effective communication around our products, services, and pricing. Ideal candidates will have experience supporting sales teams or exposure to the electrical industry.

This role operates in accordance with the ISO9001 and ISO14001 management systems, to ensure continuous improvement and environmental management as an integral part of our operations.

Your key accountabilities will include:

• Prepare and submit accurate project estimates
• Collaborate with internal teams and support sales/BDMs
• Resolve quote-related issues and maintain CRM records
• Uphold quality standards and contribute to system improvements
• Expand technical knowledge through training
• Contribute to quality and environmental standards (ISO9001 & ISO14001)
• Additional duties as required from time to time as per business requirements.

Skills and Experiences:
About You

Success in this role will require someone strong communication and CRM skills, and a proactive approach to quality, technical learning, and cross-team collaboration. They will also bring:

• 3+ years’ experience in or alongside estimating and quoting within the electrical industry or with a lighting Supplier/Wholesale space (preferred)
• Initiative and the ability to problem solve.
• The ability to work both autonomously and within a tight-knit team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office-based programs.
• Exceptional time management skills.
