About the Role
Reporting to the State Manager NSW/ACT, but for the interim, will report to our General Manager Sales (ANZ), the Customer Service Officer – Project Expediting role is responsible for providing prompt delivery and assistance with stock control and forecasting. Ideal candidates will have experience supporting sales teams or exposure to the electrical industry.
This role operates in accordance with the ISO9001 and ISO14001 management systems, to ensure continuous improvement and environmental management as an integral part of our operations.
Your key accountabilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Provide excellent customer service across all stakeholders
- Enter, manage, and expedite project and support service orders
- Liaise with wholesalers and contractors to ensure seamless operations
- Follow supply chain processes from import to returns
- Coordinate with production on stock and lead times
- Forecast forward orders to optimise inventory
- Engage in sales meetings and support team collaboration
- Assist sales team with customer service needs when required
- Uphold QMS/EMS standards and promote quality/environmental policies
- Perform additional tasks as needed by the business
About You
We’re looking for someone organised, efficient, and ready to make a strong contribution to team success. You'll help ensure prompt delivery, assist with stock control, and support accurate forecasting to meet customer expectations. They will also bring:
- Strong customer service skills with experience across diverse industries
- Project management expertise including cost estimation, planning, and reporting
- Knowledgeable in data centre operations and strategic project analysis
- Detail-oriented, highly organised, and skilled in time and task management
