The Role:

The Customer Service & Operations Coordinator plays a key role in delivering an outstanding customer experience while supporting the day-to-day operations of the business. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is happy to get involved wherever needed.

While customer service, quoting and order management are the primary focus of the role, we are looking for someone who is flexible and enjoys learning different aspects of the business. Depending on experience and workload, this may include assisting with production, operating print equipment, basic artwork/design amendments, finishing work or supporting other operational tasks.

This role would suit someone who enjoys no two days being the same and takes pride in being a reliable, hands-on team member who is willing to support colleagues to ensure customer deadlines are met.

In this role, the Customer Service & Operations Coordinator will lead from the front and take responsibility for the successful and timely execution of all requirements needed to provide the highest level of service [at all levels of customer engagement] and in parallel execute business objectives/KPI’s, with the goal of driving sales growth.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating customer quotes and follow-up, based on customer needs [with a high attention to detail, conversion and client satisfaction]. All activity to be logged in CRM and Business Management system.
  • Ensure project deliverables are met by closely monitoring/liaising with production team and suppliers.
  • Drive long term growth by building strong relationships with team and customers.
  • Support the production team during busy periods, assisting with print finishing, machine operation or other production activities where trained to do so.
  • Identify Sales Opportunities, proactively spot opportunities during customer interactions and coordinate with Management to schedule meetings to drive sales growth.
  • Assist with basic artwork amendments or design tasks where experience permits.
  • Work collaboratively across all areas of the business to ensure customer deadlines and service standards are consistently achieved.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by supporting different functions within the centre as business needs require.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, housekeeping and health & safety across all work areas.
  • Place a high priority on delivering quality results, go above and beyond client expectations.
  • Carryout other tasks as required by management.

Required Criteria

  • Willingness to learn production processes and support operational activities as required.
  • Excellent communication skills, professional phone manner and customer focus are essential.
  • Strong understanding and ability to ensure standards and processes of Quality [ISO standard], Health, Safety and Environment are upheld.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suites, Data extraction and ability to run reports as required
  • A strong educational background and fluent in English. Desire to learn/take feedback


Desired Criteria

  • Experience within the print, signage, promotional products or graphic design industry would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience operating print or finishing equipment would be highly desirable, although full training can be provided.
