About the Role

DBCS Computer is a locally owned computer sales and service business in Airdrie.

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and self-sufficient individual to support customer service, sales, shipping, and day-to-day operations.

This role requires a high level of independence. The owner is frequently away, including extended periods, so you must be able to manage daily operations consistently and communicate clearly without close supervision.

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a hands-on, multi-role position involving:

• Responding to customer inquiries (email, phone, and in person)
• Assisting customers with product questions and basic technical guidance
• Supporting sales and service coordination
• Packing and shipping orders accurately and efficiently
• Maintaining organized and accurate records
• Assisting with website updates, listings, and light marketing tasks

• Is comfortable handling a variety of tasks in a small business environment
• Has solid computer knowledge and can confidently assist customers with basic technical questions
• Is organized, efficient, and detail-oriented

Requirements

• Strong written and spoken English
• Previous experience in customer service, retail, or a similar role preferred
• Practical familiarity with computer hardware and software required
• Experience with computer repair or building is an asset

Position Details

• Part-time (15-20hrs/week negotiable to start)
• In-person (Airdrie, AB)
• $20–$26/hour depending on experience
• Performance review after 3 months
• Wage increases based on demonstrated reliability, independence, and performance
