Job Summary:
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and hard-working Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is primarily responsible for operating the cash register, assisting customers with purchases, and performing various side duties to help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service
- Operate the cash register efficiently and accurately
- Handle cash, credit/debit transactions, and provide correct change
- Answer customer questions and assist with product selection when needed
- Perform daily side work, including restocking, cleaning, organizing, and other duties as assigned
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the front counter and surrounding areas
- Follow all store policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Friendly, positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Willingness to take initiative and pitch in where needed
- Dependable and punctual
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role (not required but a plus)
- Experience operating a till or POS system
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
Work Location: In person
