Overview
Peerless Electric, a leading Canadian lighting manufacturer based in Cornwall, ON, Canada, is currently seeking an in-house Customer Service Representative to service its Canadian and U.S. Clients by responding to inquiries and helping to resolve issues. The Customer Service Representative will also have the responsibility to enter customers orders and be the liaison between the client and the manufacturing facility.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. Your ability to communicate effectively and analyze customer needs will be essential in ensuring a positive experience. Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat.
• Enter and modify Customer Orders
• Participate in the resolution of customer problems
• Follow up on Customer Inquires such as delivery requests
• Ability to work as part of team with other departments
• Communicate with clients in a timely and professional manner
• Build Customer Loyalty & Satisfaction
• Provide accurate information regarding products and services.
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions through data entry.

Qualifications

• Previous experience (3 Years) in customer service or sales is preferred.
• Previous experience/knowledge of the commercial lighting industry.
• Strong phone etiquette and communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in data entry with attention to detail.
• Strong computer literacy, PC, AS400, Excel, Office 365, MS Teams...
• Ability to analyze situations and provide effective solutions.
• A friendly demeanor, positive attitude with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$28.00 per hour
