Customer Service Specialist, Order Management (Contract)

The Customer Service Specialist will handle the end-to-end cycle of the order management processes within the supply chain business of Medtronic Korea. You will be the customers’ primary contact in answering queries and complaints, processing orders and billing, consignment, delivery, etc. You are expected to maintain strong collaboration with the business unit and other Supply Chain Management teams on follow-ups and requests. This is 18 months fixed-term contract individual contributor role.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Maintain highly customer-focused quality services

  • Frequent verbal and written communication with customers on updating them with product information and other required

  • Handle daily order fulfillment, consignment inventory customer backorder review, delivery scheduling & billing and invoicing, reporting on sales results

  • Manage the PO pending status on regular basis not to keep unbilled revenue for a long time

  • Perform any ad hoc projects as assigned by the Manager

  • Prepare and report Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and lead process improvement efforts

  • Manage inventories and allocate stock in short supply to maximize service levels

  • Represent the company to external and internal customers, answer customers’ questions, trace lost shipments, interprets and clarify customer orders for the ship-out, and when necessary, may connect customers to appropriate support of field staff

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Completed Bachelor’s degree qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of customer service/order management and SAP/ERP experience, preferably medical devices or healthcare industry

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and Korean languages

  • Computer literacy including sound knowledge of the MS Office suite of software

  • Excellent interpersonal skill

  • Demonstrated ability to build strong customer (internal and external) relationships

  • Experience in cross-functional projects and process improvements

  • Experience in SAP Order Delivery Module (ORM) is a great plus
