Logistics Coordinator Supervisor – Transportation & Retail Operations
Location: Halton Hills / Milton, Ontario

Position Summary
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Logistics Coordinator Supervisor – Transportation & Retail Operations to lead and support our Logistics Coordinator team.
This role provides day-to-day leadership and operational oversight for coordinators supporting both transportation and retail delivery functions. The Supervisor will play a key role in ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining service standards, managing escalations, and supporting team performance.
The successful candidate will work closely with Dispatch, Warehouse, Drivers, and Management to ensure seamless coordination and delivery execution while fostering a positive and accountable team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, mentor, and support a team of Logistics Coordinators
- Assign, prioritize, and balance daily workloads to meet operational deadlines and service commitments
- Act as the primary point of escalation for delivery issues, service failures, and customer concerns
- Oversee track-and-trace activities, ETA management, and proactive communication with customers and internal teams
- Ensure accuracy and compliance of shipment documentation, including BOLs, PODs, and system entries
- Support and oversee OS&D investigations and freight claims resolution
- Monitor operational performance and identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement
- Ensure adherence to company SOPs, customer requirements, and operational procedures
- Collaborate closely with Dispatch, Warehouse, and Management teams to resolve operational challenges
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service quality
- Assist with training and development of Logistics Coordinators
- Provide regular updates and operational feedback to management
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 3–5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations
- Previous experience in a lead, senior, or supervisory capacity is considered a strong asset
- Strong understanding of transportation coordination and retail delivery operations
- Experience handling escalations, service recovery, and customer communication
- Working knowledge of Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Experience with TruckMate or similar transportation software is an asset
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Education
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Post-secondary education in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field is considered an asset
