Customer Service Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a Customer Service Technician to repair and maintain mobility equipment. This role requires troubleshooting mechanical issues, performing repairs, and maintaining service documentation. Repairs may be conducted on-site or through phone or email consultations with customers. During off-peak times, the technician will also be responsible for creating and updating service guides to improve team efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create/update service guides during off-peak times.
• Diagnose and repair mobility equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance, including parts replacement and adjustments.
• Communicate with customers to assess needs and explain repairs.
• Maintain accurate service records
• Ensure all work adheres to safety and quality standards.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
• Familiar and comfortable with using software to create and maintain service documents.
• Experience in bicycle, wheelchair or mobility equipment repair.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Comfortable diagnosing and assisting with repairs over the phone.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
