Job Summary

The Customer Service & Tele-sales Representative is a high-impact role responsible for the full client lifecycle—from proactive lead generation to final product delivery. You will utilize the Label Traxx ERP system to maintain absolute accuracy in quote creation and job specifications. Success in this role requires extreme discipline in following up on every open thread, including artwork approvals and quote submissions, while strategically managing forecast stock and seasonal growth campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Active Lead Generation: Conduct daily outbound prospecting (calls and emails) to identify new B2B opportunities. You are responsible for building a consistent pipeline of qualified leads within the packaging and labelling sector.
  • ERP-Driven Quoting: Generate detailed, technical quotes within Label Traxx, ensuring all substrates, tooling, and lead-time calculations are precise.
  • "Tight-Loop" Follow-up: Maintain a rigorous follow-up cadence for all submitted quotes. You must ensure 100% visibility on the status of every proposal, moving them toward quotation approval within defined company timelines (typically 2–3 days for the first touch).
  • Art & Technical Approvals: Act as the primary liaison between the client and the prepress team to secure art approvals. You must proactively resolve bottlenecks to prevent production delays.
  • Forecast Stock Management: Monitor customer inventory and "pickup" schedules for forecast stock. You will ensure that pre-produced items are released and shipped according to client demand, maintaining lean inventory levels in the ERP.
  • Seasonal Campaign Launch: Strategically identify and launch specialized outreach for seasonal campaigns (e.g., holiday packaging, limited-edition labels). You will pitch these high-value opportunities to existing and prospective accounts to drive annual growth.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • System Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Label Traxx ERP is a must, specifically the Quoting, Job Ticket, and Inventory modules.
  • Relentless Follow-up: A proven ability to manage high-volume "to-do" lists with zero items falling through the cracks. If a quote or art proof is pending, you are the one driving the response.
  • Operational Discipline: High capacity for structured daily work, including set blocks for prospecting, ERP data entry, and production follow-ups.
  • Packaging Expertise: Understanding of the technical nuances of packaging (flexo vs. digital, material barriers, and adhesive types) to provide accurate consultations.
  • Sales Tenacity: Comfortable with cold calling and persistent lead nurturing; an ability to turn a "not now" into a "ready for quote".

Performance Metrics (KPIs)

  • Quote Conversion Rate: Percentage of submitted quotes that move to approved job tickets.
  • Lead-to-Quote Velocity: The speed at which a new lead is qualified and provided with a formal proposal.
  • Follow-up Consistency: Adherence to the "multi-touch" follow-up schedule for all open quotes and art approvals.
  • Seasonal Growth: Total revenue generated from targeted seasonal product pushes.

Salary is negotiable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
