As a Customer Success Manager, you'll be instrumental in growing and further developing our customer base and business in the Pelagus network, working with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), End-Users and Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation (EPCIs) in the maritime and offshore industries. You'll manage customer relationships, drive project engagements, and ensure successful implementation of our solutions to drive long term value for the customer and growth for Pelagus.
What you will be doing:
- Managing relationships with international customers across diverse business cultures
- Guiding and solving technical higher-level enquiries directly with the customer regarding manufacturing, materials and product design
- Implementing Pelagus solutions as the new standard way of working
- Driving multiple customer projects simultaneously
- Negotiating and securing account renewals while increasing customer satisfaction scores
- Developing and implementing customer success plans
- Representing Pelagus at industry events and trade shows
- Engaging with new potential customers on both the OEM and End User side.
- Communicating the customers’ needs to the rest of the commercial team to drive the development of Pelagus’s products, services and platform capabilities.
What you need to succeed in the role:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in business or engineering
- 5+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in a related role
- Experience with supply chain or procurement within the maritime or oil and gas industry.
- Understanding of product development, lifecycle and implementation.
- Understanding of customer success methodologies and practices
- Problem-solving and proactive communication skills to manage unique OEM needs and handle challenges as they arise.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in English (oral and written)
Additional skills and experience we are looking for:
- Experience with different manufacturing technologies and particularly additive manufacturing
- Background in high-growth scale-up organizations
- Ability to engage with teams across corporate functions
- Self-sufficient character with strong results orientation
