Customs Coordinator

Afternoon shift Customs Coordinator

Wilride Transport Ltd. based in Guelph, ON is looking for an enthusiastic, extremely detail oriented, and experienced Customs Coordinator.

The ideal candidate will have experience with clearing freight moving in both directions across the US and Canada Border.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Hours for this role are Monday to Friday – 11:00am to 7pm
• Familiarity with ACE, ACI, Border Connect, ACE portal an asset.
• Work closely with Customs Brokers, Wilride Drivers, Dispatchers and our Customers to ensure the accurate and timely clearance of shipments.
• Ensure accuracy in all customs documents submitted to Canadian and US Customs so all requirements are being met.
• Familiarity with bonding shipments into Canada and the US. Closing and exporting bonds as necessary and in a timely manner to avoid penalties and fines.
• Work closely with inbound and outbound dispatchers to pre-clear as many loads as possible.
• Assist with order entry of inbound and outbound shipments.

• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent time management and organization skills required.
• Must be self-motivated and energetic
• Excels in fast-paced environment
