The Opportunity:
Make your mark while you grow your career! Are you a smart, curious, and motivated cybersecurity professional? Join our Cybersecurity Team as a Cybersecurity Analyst and make a meaningful impact by protecting our organization from cyber threats.
In this role, you’ll work across the organization to prevent, detect, and respond to risks, leveraging your expertise in security domains, governance frameworks, and risk controls. You will work in resourceful, independent environment where your broad IT knowledge and enterprise experience will help shape effective cyber risk controls and governance processes.

Key Accountabilities:
- Collaborate on the development, communication, and delivery of roadmaps to mature capabilities
- Assess, select, and implement security controls and products
- Follow and maintain incident response plans, procedures, and playbooks. Mature the IR process and provide security resilience
- Proactively threat hunting and investigations
- Assist with management of and response to audits and third-party security assessments
- Prepare assessments and reports; and assist with and give technical guidance for legal discovery and production
- Communicate with all levels of the company - excellent communication skills, ability to move between abstract concepts and detailed design and relate one to the other, proactive, analytical, ability to triage situations and prioritize, and an “always learning” mentality
What You Bring to the Role:
- 20 years of professional experience in cyber security and operations with a University degree, or technical diploma in an applicable field. Certifications such as CISSP or SANS are an asset
- A proven track record in security operations with 5+ years’ experience in incident management and response
- Deep and applied technical knowledge and experience in handling security incidents, including: log data review, correlation, and analysis. Ability to investigate and evaluate network traffic, read, and interpret logs and packet captures
- Experience defining and executing cyber risk controls, governance, policy and practice
- Experience with defending cloud and SaaS environments
- Skills and experience in areas such as databases, automation, operational technology (ICS/SCADA/DCS), data science, are an asset
- Strong experience in EDR tools such as Crowdstrike and Carbon Black
- Knowledge of computing and security concepts, and demonstrated understanding of networking fundamentals including subnetting, TCP/IP, protocols such as SSL/TLS, DNS, HTTP, SSH, etc.
- Cutting-edge knowledge of current threats (APT, 3rd party threats), vulnerabilities, and recent cyber-attacks
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Strong Influencing, relationship building, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to proactively perform duties and responsibilities with little-to-no direction
