Job Description

Core Responsibilities

• Monitor systems for cyber threats and security incidents
• Implement security controls (firewalls, antivirus, endpoint protection)
• Conduct risk assessments, audits, and vulnerability checks
• Ensure compliance with standards (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, Essential Eight, GDPR)
• Investigate and respond to security breaches
• Manage SIEM tools and security alerts
• Support penetration testing and vulnerability management
• Create compliance and security reports
• Train staff on cybersecurity awareness
• Assist with disaster recovery and business continuity

Common Tools

• Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike
• SIEM tools (Sentinel, Splunk)
• Fortinet / Cisco firewalls
• Azure Security Center
• Nessus / Qualys scanners

Skills & Qualifications

• Degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
• Knowledge of security frameworks & compliance standards
• Network and cloud security understanding
• Incident response and risk management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Certifications (preferred): Security+, CISSP, CISM, CEH, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor

Pay: From $8,500.00 per month
