Job Description: We are seeking an Dairy Farm Manager to join our team at Ballyhurst Dairy Farm Ltd .The successful candidate will be responsible for Manage the daily operations of a dairy farm, ensuring the health and productivity of the herd while maintaining high farm standards.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Milking cows and managing the milking process efficiently
✔ monitoring animal health, detecting signs of mastitis,andlame cow.
✔ Feeding, watering, and managing the nutrition of dairy cattle
✔ operating and maintaining farm machinery, including tractors, feeders, and milking equipment
✔ calving, calf rearing, and herd management
✔ following biosecurity and hygiene protocols to ensure animal welfare and milk quality
✔ General farm maintenance and fencing
Requirements:
✅ Minimum 2 years of experience in dairy farming
✅ Basic English language skills for communication and safety compliance
✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✅ Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends when required
