Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dance and a love for teaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate students of all ages. This role involves developing engaging dance curricula, providing instruction in various dance styles, and fostering a positive learning environment. The Dance Instructor will work closely with students to enhance their skills and confidence while promoting an appreciation for the art of dance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive dance lesson plans that cater to different skill levels and age groups.
• Teach various dance styles, ensuring that students understand techniques, movements, and choreography.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and creativity.
• Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their skills and performance.
• Organize and participate in recitals, showcases, or competitions as needed.
• Collaborate with other instructors to enhance the overall curriculum and student experience.
• Maintain a safe and clean studio environment for all participants.
• Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding progress, expectations, and any concerns.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in dance instruction or related fields such as tutoring or early childhood education is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of various dance styles (e.g., ballet, jazz, hip-hop) is essential.
• Background in curriculum development is a plus, enabling the creation of effective lesson plans.
• Experience working with students in a classroom or instructional setting is highly desirable.
• Skills in related areas such as culinary arts, photography, or childcare can be beneficial for enhancing student engagement.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
• A passion for teaching and nurturing young talent in the performing arts field.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
