We are seeking a Dangerous Goods (DG) Service Support Team Member to help us maintain our high standards.

The Role
Our DG Service team ensures compliance and safety in hazardous goods transportation. Working with clients across various locations, our professionals collaborate with colleagues and customers to uphold international regulations and standards.
Your primary focus will be the precise and careful management of hazardous shipments, safeguarding both our clients and the broader community. You will achieve this by efficiently preparing goods and materials for onward shipping, including compliant packing, marking, and labeling of goods, as well as issuing all necessary paperwork prior to departure.
This role requires technical knowledge and adaptability for hands-on tasks and problem-solving.
Responsibilities
Include but are not limited to:
- Point of contact for advising clients in the specialist area of packaging requirements and solutions.
- Provide mobile (company van) and remote support and guidance on national, international regulatory and logistics compliance.
- Manage multiple requests and priorities based on lead time and urgency.
- Packing/marking and labelling Dangerous Goods and issuing paperwork both onsite at our clients site and/or at our HQ in Ballincollig, Co. Cork.
Required skills/experience
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, operations, warehouse, and/or transportation.
- 1+ years of direct client interaction experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, complemented by strong interpersonal abilities.
- Proactive approach to customer service and performance.
- Team player with solid communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Fluent English (written and verbal) is required; additional languages are a plus.
- Full driving license required.
- Experience with dangerous goods or hazardous materials is a plus.
- Fork truck license is a plus.
- We can only consider candidates who are located in Cork and can commute to our Ballincollig, Co. Cork office daily.
