Description:Éducation Globale et Développement (EGD), a Belgian non-profit organisation, is looking for primary and secondary schools in Denmark interested in joining a European Erasmus+ project on peace education and active citizenship.

Peace Classes are the proven effective weekly progressive sessions in building the capacity of Peace and Values for the young people in harmony with school pedagogical objectives. Peace Classes equally empowers their families and school staff creating a comprehensive basis for a holistic and practical development for the young people in today's diverse challenging circumstances. Developed by EGD Belgium, and tested and proven over two decades, schools are invited to benefit from this limited opportunity.

Project objectives

• Improve school climate
• Develop empathy, cooperation and peaceful conflict resolution
• Prevent bullying through positive and inclusive pedagogical approaches
• Strengthens students social and emotional skills
• Equip teachers and educators with concrete, replicable methodologies, appropriate knowledge and positive attitude
• Improve home environment and empower their Peace and Value competences

Danish schools will have the opportunity to:
