About the Role:
We are seeking a Data Analyst to join the Faculty of Business and Law and help strengthen the way data informs strategic planning, performance monitoring and decision-making across the Faculty.
Working closely with Faculty leadership, Schools and professional staff, you will develop dashboards, analyse data and translate complex information into clear, practical insights that support continuous improvement.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent or soon-to-be graduate to build a career in business intelligence and analytics while contributing to meaningful projects with real impact across the University.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
- Analysing complex datasets from multiple University systems.
- Designing automated reports and visualisations.
- Applying appropriate techniques to link, integrate or extract relevant information from data sources.
- Translating data into meaningful insights to support senior decision-makers.
- Assisting with accreditation reporting and other major Faculty projects.
- Identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes through automation and better use of data.
- Presenting data in formats (e.g. tabular, graphical and interactive dashboards) appropriate to the audience.
- Using database management tools to investigate problems, collect performance statistics and create reports.
- Maintaining datasets and being responsible for the accuracy and integrity of data.
- Ideally, you will also have experience using Power BI, SQL, Tableau and/or R.
To be successful in this role, you will bring strong analytical capability, curiosity and attention to detail, with the ability to work with data and communicate insights clearly to a range of stakeholders.
Role Requirements:
- As this is a continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia to be considered.

This Continuous G05 level role attracts a remuneration of $85,781 - $93,836 + 17% superannuation.
