As a Data Analyst in the Workforce Planning Branch, you'll play a key role in helping shape the future workforce of the NSW public sector. Working with large and complex datasets, you'll uncover trends, identify opportunities and deliver insights that inform strategic workforce planning, policy development and government decision making.
This is an opportunity to work on issues that matter at scale. You'll collaborate with agencies across government and support sector-wide workforce initiatives. You'll also contribute to projects that help ensure the NSW public sector has the capability and capacity to deliver for the people of New South Wales.
You’ll join Workforce Data and Insights teams within the Workforce Planning Branch, part of the People and Workforce Group, on one of two temporary opportunities. Our team combines analytical thinking, curiosity and collaboration to solve complex workforce challenges and provide evidence-based insights that influence decision-making across government. - Data Analytics & Insights: Demonstrated experience analysing complex datasets, using databases/data warehouses, translating findings into meaningful insights and developing actionable recommendations
- Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to communicate complex information clearly, build productive relationships and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders across government
- Critical Thinking & Technology: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated experience in data management, visualisation and identifying opportunities to improve processes and outcomes

Salary: Clerk Grade 7/8. Package includes base salary ($116,981 - $129,49 plus superannuation (12%) and leave loading
