We are seeking an energetic, qualified Data Conversions Specialist to join our growing team. Our primary focus is on the development and distribution of our software products, which integrate accounting transactions from shop management systems into accounting software. We specialize in making the accounting process simple and efficient so that our Users can streamline their bookkeeping processes.

As a Data Conversion Specialist on our team, you will build and evaluate conversions for Shop Management Systems that we are partnered with. This position offers opportunities to think outside the box and collaborate with a growing team. At least one year of SQL and Microsoft Access experience is preferred, as well as good organizational and communication skills. This position offers the unique opportunity to work with all aspects of the development lifecycle.

What you will be doing:

The advantage of working for a smaller company is greater flexibility in taking on roles and expanding your influence into other areas of the company. The primary roles of this position are included below but may be expanded upon based on the applicant's knowledge base and interest.

• Work closely with various databases and efficiently convert data into other formats
• Frequently use SQL and Microsoft Access
• Build, develop, and operate process conversions
• Analyze client needs to design, test, and develop software in order to meet those needs
• Exercise technical standards, including software development concepts and principles
• Collaborate through effective communication with team members

• 1+ year(s) of SQL experience is preferred
• 1+ year(s) of Microsoft Access experience preferred
• Degree (or working towards a degree) in software engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Working knowledge of software development concepts
• Ability to quickly learn new tools and software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work independently and with a team

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $21.00 per hour
