We're seeking a Data Review Specialist to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the integrity, quality, and compliance of critical data. In this position, you'll be responsible for reviewing, validating, and analyzing data to support informed business decisions and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate and follow-up on all open balances for accounts that have received a payment or denial
- Maintain consistent, productive, and timely follow-up, as often as is needed to collect on the account
- Meet the expectations and goals for productivity and cash targets as set forth by management
- Make outgoing calls to patients, insurance companies and attorneys regarding claim status in order to reduce both outstanding receivables
- Identify and resolve issues impacting the timely collection of open receivables
- Recommend accounts to an outside agency based upon company guidelines
- Notify database operations of changes or additions to specific payor, plan, contract, address, or other pertinent information as necessary
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED required
- One to two years of medical billing, medical collecting or claims processing experience
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Suites
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal instruction or supervision
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.50 per hour
