About the role:
The Data Optimisation Analyst (Contact & Account) will be responsible for governing Contact and Customer master data across CSR, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and alignment with business standards. The position plays a key role in improving data quality, embedding governance frameworks, and supporting system and process integration. Based at North Ryde, the role works cross-functionally to drive sustainable data practices and business outcomes.
Key responsibilities:
- Be the subject matter expert responsible for defining standards, maintaining data definitions, and ensuring a consistent single source of truth across the business for Contact and Customer.
- Proactively manage and improve data quality by monitoring datasets, identifying recurring issues, analysing root causes, and driving remediation activities to reduce errors and business impact.
- Implement and embed preventative controls and governance practices to ensure data quality improvements are sustainable and reduce manual rework over time.
- Collaborate closely with business (ie Customer Master Data, Sales, Marketing and Customer Services Teams) and technical stakeholders to align data standards across processes, systems, and integrations, ensuring consistency in how data is created, maintained, and used.
- Provide input into projects, system changes, and enhancements to ensure Contact and Customer data is managed in line with agreed standards and governance frameworks.
- Apply data governance, risk, and compliance principles, including data privacy, access controls, and documentation of data lineage to support transparency and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to building a strong data governance culture while supporting safe work practices and adhering to WHSE standards.
What you bring to the role:
- Degree qualified and a minimum 5 years' experience in master data analysis or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of Customer and/or Contact data in enterprise environments.
- Proven experience in data quality management and remediation.
- Highly analytical with strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
- Ability to collaborate across business and technical teams.
- High attention to detail with strong ownership and accountability.
- Experience with ERP (SAP) and CRM platforms.
