Role summary
Data Processing Technician responsible for 2D model digitisation, including data preprocessing, quality checks, and preparing datasets for further analysis from drone and other geospatial sources.
Key responsibilities
- Preprocess raw geospatial and engineering data (including imagery, CAD, and survey data) for 2D model creation and mapping projects.
- Perform quality checks, validation, and cleaning of datasets to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Prepare, organise, and document datasets for downstream analysis, modelling, and client deliverables.
- Work closely with project engineers, GIS/remote sensing specialists, and field teams to understand data requirements and resolve data issues.
- Maintain proper data backup, version control, and metadata for all processed datasets.
Required qualifications:
- Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or any other engineering discipline, or Geospatial Science/Engineering, or Remote Sensing Engineering, or a related field of science (Mathematics/Physics), or Diploma in Engineering.
- Strong understanding of basic GIS/remote sensing or CAD concepts and data formats (raster, vector, CAD drawings, spreadsheets).
- Proficiency in using data processing tools such as Excel and at least one GIS/remote sensing/CAD software (e.g., QGIS, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, or similar).
Preferred skills :
- Experience working with drone, satellite, or survey datasets for mapping or engineering projects.
- Attention to detail, good analytical and problem‑solving skills, and ability to follow documented workflows.
- Ability to work in a project‑based environment and meet delivery timelines with minimal supervision.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
