Data Scientist - DOCOsoft (Dublin)

As a Data Scientist working with the DOCOsoft Data Analytics and R&D teams, you will use your creativity to develop and implement state of the art machine learning, NLP and AI technologies. You will work with the latest open-source and Microsoft technologies in a fast-paced, agile environment.

The role involves participating and contributing to the specification, architecture, and design of technology stacks for machine learning products, including reinforcement learning systems and environments. Key to the role is producing well-structured, re-usable, robust, scalable, maintainable, and well-documented components and code that can be effectively deployed in production environments.

The ideal person will be able to:

• Partner with product team to develop state of the art AI solutions that provide real value to end-users.
• Architect and implement end-to-end AI solutions.
• Design and conduct experiments to validate model performance.
• Keep up to date with the latest developments in relevant areas in industry and academia.
• Assess new tools and frameworks for potential adoption.
• Build relationships with academic and industry partners.
• Work with product and client delivery teams to understand requirements and constraints.
• Collaborate with DevOps to design scalable ML infrastructure.

Key attributes/ skills -

• A PhD in machine learning or related field, with research experience in deep learning, transformer architectures, or reinforcement learning.
• Proficiency in developing production-grade ML code
• Strong understanding of ML frameworks and libraries
• Ability to have a positive impact on others and communicate openly and directly to individuals or groups at all levels.
• Ability to solve complex problems and participate in continuous improvement practices.
