As a Data Stewards Ops Associate within the Global Banking Data Hub (GBDH) group, you will be responsible for providing oversight and execution support of daily processes related to Data Quality on the AWS platform. You will partner with your local manager and global financial operations teams to execute against strategic deliverables and responsibilities, ensuring timely and quality data delivery to various business finance, operations, and technology functions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Partner with global team to ensure timely and quality data to various business finance, operations and technology functions.

  • Maintain JIRA in line with Control Standards and for ease of Status reporting on the task performed by the team.

  • Build and maintain key relationships and partnerships across various business finance, operations and technology partners globally.

  • Provide timely communications on impacts/deliverables between geographically diverse teams.

  • Identify, analyze and resolve data quality and processing issues.

  • Identify, analyze and work on various process improvements on a continual basis.

  • Identify production bugs and work with stakeholders, Ops and technology to remediate.

  • Conduct testing of new functional releases aimed at improving the operations cycle.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • 5+ years of experience executing against Production environment Operating Models spanning business lines within the financial services industry to support timely delivery of quality data
  • Has the ability to produce innovative ideas to improve the process
  • Has worked as people manager and currently have team reporting to them.
  • Experienced on proven execution of strategic process and technology initiatives in the context of business and finance goals
  • Ability to challenge and adopt a changing business landscape
  • Ability to focus on the key issues and drive initiatives to conclusion
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SQL.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • BS/BA degree. MBA or related Master’s Degree is a plus.

  • Demonstrated experience with AWS environments.

  • Agile development understanding and knowledge on Python, Alteryx, Tableau is a plus.

  • Basic knowledge of AWS platform. Worked on Redshift and Databricks database.
