As a Microsoft Datacenter Project Manager- Compliance (DCPM), you will partner with field operations leadership to operationalize strategic initiatives at the campus level, ensuring consistent execution, alignment, and measurable outcomes across the datacenter metro. You will drive financial planning and performance rhythms in line with business review cycles, while coordinating effectively across stakeholders to manage priorities and resolve scheduling conflicts. In this role, you will act as the single point of contact for metro-level audit and compliance programs, overseeing key initiatives and ongoing operational activities, including site safety drills and tabletop exercises.
This position requires strong program leadership, the ability to influence across cross-functional teams, and the capability to drive compliance accountability in a complex, fast-paced operational environment.

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive alignment on compliance and audit priorities.
- Lead end-to-end audit readiness across the datacenter metro, including internal and external assessments, ensuring findings are proactively identified, tracked, and closed.
- Drive the implementation of compliance strategies to support metro operations, enable successful onboarding of new facilities, and continuously improve operational efficiency.
- Execute quarterly Enterprise Governance, Risk, and Compliance (EGRC) controls, including audit tasks, access reviews, wireless scans, and Critical Environments and EH&S site assessments, ensuring adherence to Microsoft standards.
- Partner with procedural document owners to address gaps identified through audits and assessments, ensuring all documentation is maintained in compliance with Microsoft retention policies.
- Own and maintain environmental, emergency, and business continuity plans for the datacenter metro.
- Influence cross-functional stakeholders to drive accountability and timely resolution of compliance findings, without direct authority.
- Conduct regular on-site presence (approximately 25%) to ensure adherence to metro standards, including cleanliness, stowage, 5S, in-process work, and life safety requirements.
- Lead cross-functional alignment to close compliance gaps through clear communication, structured follow-ups, and stakeholder engagement.
- Translate complex regulatory and compliance requirements into clear, actionable guidance for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Own environmental compliance across the metro, ensuring adherence to local regulations, permits, ISO standards, and Microsoft sustainability commitments.
- Coordinate environmental reporting and maintain alignment with local authorities and regulatory bodies.
- Manage compliance tracking systems (e.g., audit and ticketing platforms) to ensure accurate documentation, visibility of risks, and timely closure of actions.
- Leverage data insights and reporting to identify trends, recurring gaps, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent AND industry experience with a focus in change management processes
- OR industry experience and college course work with a focus in change management processes
- You will be required to travel between sites as part of this role so a valid driver’s license will be required.
- This role requires you to be on-site and the location has limited public transport. Your own form of transport is advised.
Background Check Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

- Willingness to work flexible hours, non-business hours, or other scenarios required by the flow of operations.
Data Center Operations Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across Finland is € 61,400.00 - € 92,000.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
