Due to the growth of Cali, we are now recruiting for 1 Permanent full time role and 1 part time 0.5 permanent position.

We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated and creative individuals to join our team supporting adults with intellectual disabilities to achieve meaningful and self-directed lives.

The successful candidate will have:

• QQI Level 5 or higher qualification in Healthcare, Social Care, Community Care, Intellectual Disability Studies, Education, Training, Teaching or a related field.
• A minimum of 1 year's experience supporting people with intellectual disabilities.
• Experience supporting individuals with severe to profound intellectual disabilities and/or complex support needs.
• A commitment to Person-Centred Planning and rights-based practice.
• Knowledge and understanding of:

· New Directions

· Assisted Decision-Making (Capacity) Act 2015

· Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults

· Positive Behaviour Support

· Human Rights and Advocacy

· Risk Management

Ability to identify and develop people's natural support networks, social roles and community connections.

• Ability to facilitate meaningful educational, recreational, vocational and community-based programmes.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational and teamwork skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Full clean manual driving licence.

Salary: HSE Instructor Grade Pay Scale, with placement on the scale determined by relevant qualifications and experience.
