Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor children during play, learning activities, and mealtimes to ensure safety and well-being
• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
• Assist children with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, dressing, and hygiene practices
• Support children with disabilities or special needs by adapting activities and providing individualized care
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning and play
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns
• Foster positive relationships with children to promote confidence, independence, and social skills
• Follow all safety protocols and licensing regulations to ensure a secure environment for all children

Requirements

• Prior classroom experience or experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting preferred
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and caregiving best practices
• Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills
• Ability to engage children through creative activities and positive reinforcement
• Patience, adaptability, and a genuine love for working with young children
• Must meet all licensing requirements for childcare providers in the state or region where the position is located
