Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, fostering their development through engaging activities and educational experiences. This role involves caring for toddlers and infants, ensuring their safety, and promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play.
• Supervise children in the classroom, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
• Engage with children through interactive activities that stimulate their curiosity and creativity.
• Maintain classroom management by establishing rules and routines that promote positive behavior.
• Provide individualized attention to children, including those with disabilities, to support their unique needs.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and daily activities.
• Administer first aid when necessary and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive learning environment.

Skills

• Experience in babysitting or toddler care is preferred.
• Strong classroom management skills to maintain an orderly environment.
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
• Ability to provide caregiving for infants and toddlers effectively.
• First aid certification is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Patience and empathy when working with children of varying abilities, including those with disabilities.

Pay: $8.25 - $10.00 per hour
