Introduction:
We are seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to join our professional dealership team at Westar Trucks Derrimut. In this role, you will operate new light, medium, and heavy trucks from our dealership to deliver to body shops, customers, and other locations. Some duties may include yard tasks and on-site truck movements.

Description:
Key Responsibilities:

• Drive brand new trucks to various locations, including suppliers and customers across Melbourne and regional Victoria.
• Support the management and presentation of trucks on display in our sales yard.
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure efficient logistics and timely deliveries.
• Assist with basic vehicle preparation and compliance
• Maintain a clean driving record and ensure adherence to safety regulations.

Skills and Experiences:
About You:
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the ideal candidate will possess:

• Previous experience driving light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks.
• A valid heavy rigid truck licence.
• Availability to work between the hours of 730 am and 6 pm.
• Strong organisational skills and effective time management.
• Basic power tool skills to assist with vehicle delivery compliance
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Reliability and a strong work ethic.
• An HR licence is required; HC is ideal
