Decisioning Senior Engineer is one of the key areas within the Data & Decision Science team with business ownership and design and development responsibilities of the Pega technical platform.

Impact & Contribution: This position and its team will work on the Decision Strategy Framework, Assist decision analysts in their day to day activities, Asses Functional Requirements, Reporting, and Simulation & Control Requirements, support Marketing Transformation, Channel Transformation, Enablement of Analytical Modelling, guide and improve Proposition Design and Decision Strategy Design. Managing and working closely with stakeholders and requirements to ensure your business plan is reflective of the business priorities, and also manage your own pipeline with strong stakeholder engagement.

Roles & Responsibilities: The key responsibilities of this role include-

• Develop and deploy high quality software solutions with comprehensive test coverage without supervision
• Analyze business objectives and identify functional and non-functional requirements and design and implement technical solutions for the requirements
• Provide accurate estimates for the development effort for new features and apply and promote industry best patterns and practices
• Contribute to the strategic engineering goals within own team / platform
• Analyzing system/application to provide recommendations for development
• Advising on corrective actions required to fix business critical problems (code, reference data, interfaces, security implementation, framework etc.,)
• Pega Decisioning and NBA Marketing product subject matter expert
• Focused on establishing Decisioning frameworks to support business strategies, and share Best Practices from other engagements
• Facilitate and participate in decision strategy and business solution workshops while ensuring alignment between business requirements and DSM product capabilities, and Leads Proposition and Logic Design and Development Activities
• Reviews and support strategy and logic testing activities; Facilitates business transformation efforts
• Mentors, coach and train BaU support team on technical problem identification and resolution
• Provide various support levels to all stakeholders within the Marketing and Decisioning Framework.
Work with upcoming Strategic projects to ensure Customer Decisioning Strategic objectives are met, and manage the capability development by following the banks SDLC guidelines/Agile Delivery

Essential Skills:

• 7-10 year s of SDLC Professional experience; Experience with CRM, Marketing software, Channel integration, Real Time Decisioning is desirable.
• Ability to lead decision strategy designs in Marketing
• Technical background with advanced business acumen across financial services.
• Strong knowledge in Pega Frameworks – Decisioning, Case management
• Knowledge across the Pega PRPC framework, either Case Management or Decisioning & Marketing is desirable.
• Application Design and Class Inheritance along with Data model concepts in Pega.
• Activities, Data Flows, Data pages, Declarative rules, Section and Screen flows, Flow actions etc.
• Strong implementation knowledge on Background processing using Agents, Job Schedulers, Queue processors.
• Excellent object-oriented analysis and design skills and system integration skills ex: REST, SOAP, SFTP etc.,
• Strong Debugging skills using Tracer and Logs.
• Working experience on Pega V8.x version & Knowledge on Pega Infinity and AI capabilities
Experience in Cloud migration (AWS) ; Pega System Architect trained & certified is desirable

Education Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree in engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology
• AWS Certification is desirable
