Deli Associate Job Description
1. A Deli Associate must Provide exceptional service, courtesy and friendliness to all customers.
2. A Deli Associate must Wait on customers (slicing, cutting, weighing, and pricing merchandise).
3. A Deli Associate must Maintain shelves and cases, filled at all times.
4. A Deli Associate must Control freshness by coding all products and pull out-of-code merchandise daily.
5. A Deli Associate must Price all products legibly and according to the price book.
6. A Deli Associate must Assist in preparation of foods.
7. A Deli Associate must Maintain good customer relations with prompt and courteous service.
8. A Deli Associate must Promote new items or weekly specials.
9. A Deli Associate must Communicate temperature failure of cases and storage area to manager in charge. Monitor hourly.
10. A Deli Associate must Follow store and government safe food handling and sanitation procedures at all times.
11. A Deli Associate must Maintain a regular cleaning and sanitation program.
12. A Deli Associate must wear hat, hairnet, or hair restraint; plastic gloves and any other items required by government sanitation regulations or company policy.
13. A Deli Associate must Perform other duties and assignments as directed.
Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: 20 – 29 per week
