Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deli Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers with their deli needs. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all food items are prepared, presented, and served in accordance with health and safety standards. Your ability to engage with customers and provide them with helpful recommendations will be key to your success.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting deli products.
- Prepare and slice meats, cheeses, and other deli items according to customer specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the deli area, including equipment and displays.
- Restock shelves and displays as needed to ensure product availability.
- Assist with bussing tables in the café area when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Provide knowledgeable assistance regarding product offerings and promotions.
Experience
- Previous experience in a grocery store or quick service fast food restaurant is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on helping others.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is beneficial.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
