Headway Construction is looking for a reliable and hardworking Delivery Driver to support our renovation and construction projects across HRM. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys driving, staying organized, and helping job sites run smoothly.

Key ResponsibilitiesDeliveries & Driving

• Drive a company vehicle to pick up materials from various suppliers.
• Deliver materials, tools, and equipment to multiple job sites daily.
• Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean vehicle interior and exterior daily at the end of the shift.

Warehouse Support

• Keep the company warehouse clean, organized, and easy to navigate.
• Sign tools and equipment in and out using company procedures.
• Return rented tools/equipment to rental companies when required.
• Store materials properly and help improve warehouse organization.

Job Site Support

• Pick up and remove tools, debris, and garbage from job sites.
• Assist with basic site cleanup and housekeeping tasks.
• Dispose of construction waste safely and appropriately.

Winter Snow Operations

• During snow season:
• Operate snow plowing equipment to clear parking lots and walkways.
• Assist with manual snow removal when needed.
• Snow plowing experience is an asset but not mandatory.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to safety.
• Able to work 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with occasional extended hours when required.
• Experience in construction, deliveries, or snow plowing is an asset.
