We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team on a part-time basis.
Ali’s Fish Market is a family-run seafood business based in Galway, supplying high-quality fresh fish and seafood to restaurants and customers across the West of Ireland. We pride ourselves on reliability, quality produce, and strong relationships with our suppliers and clients.
This role involves delivering fresh seafood to restaurants across County Galway, as well as occasional long-distance collections from Dingle, Co. Kerry.This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is dependable, organised, and comfortable with early starts and flexible hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering fresh fish and seafood to restaurants and customers in County Galway
- Collecting fish from suppliers in Dingle, Co. Kerry (as required)
- Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently
- Ensuring correct handling and temperature control of seafood at all times
- Maintaining cleanliness of the delivery vehicle
- Keeping delivery records and communicating with the office team
- Providing friendly, professional service to customers
Requirements:
- Full, clean Category B driving licence (essential)
- Good knowledge of Galway and surrounding areas
- Comfortable with early morning starts and long-distance driving
- Physically fit and able for manual handling
- Reliable, punctual, and well-organised
- Good communication and customer service skillscustomers
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From €15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
Licence/Certification:
- B Driving Licence (required)
