The Role

Because we’re growing, we’re looking to expand our local delivery fleet. If you're a skilled driver with experience safely operating box trucks, and consider yourself to be motivated and organized, this may be the right position for you. As our delivery driver you’ll be expected to get your hands on all product while loading up your truck according to a daily manifest, and you'll interact with all of our customers on a daily basis. In this position, you'll play a key role in keeping our commitment to exceed customer expectations by making sure every part - large or small - is identified, inspected, processed, and delivered on time to the right location.

This is a full-time position, M-F, with benefits including medical/dental & 401K offered, holidays, and paid vacation after initial accrual period.

This position requires flexibility as the day ends when the route is completed.

Key Responsibilities

-Safely operating small box trucks around the tri-state area

-Carefully loading your delivery truck in accordance with daily manifest

-Maintaining an organized and neat processing area

-Identifying and cleaning both large and small auto parts

-Carrying out package sortation and other general shipping tasks to move the loading process along

-Adhering to our Quality Control and Shipping Policies

-Interacting in a professional and positive manner with both customers and the general public

-Following up on all customer concerns and requests that are presented to you, and maintaining a solution-oriented approach

-Communicating with the Operations Manager when any potential issues or questions arise

-Assist in the training of other team members

The Work Environment

You'll work amongst a team of Part Technicians and Quality Control Techs to identify product and prep it to be loaded onto your truck. All loading and unloading is completed by our delivery team every morning. You will need to engage in physical warehouse and loading activities - these activities include the following:

-Lifting and moving material up to 75 pounds each

-Bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head

-Frequent walking in the factory and the stock yard

Basic required qualifications:

-You have a positive attitude

-You are reliable

-You have experience safely operating a box truck (16ft Cab over)

-You possess a valid driver's license in your state of residence with an excellent driving record

-You possess a High School diploma or equivalent

-You are authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

-You are experienced with using a computer and tablet

-You are organized and neat

-You're able to operate in both a self-directed environment and amongst a team

-You possess high ethical standards and can demonstrate this daily as you represent the company in a professional manner

-You’re comfortable working outdoors year-round, and are capable of operating in a fast-paced mechanical production setting and an office setting

-You take ownership in your work and are interested in the success of your team

-You show attention to detail

- You will need to pass a medical card exam to operate a delivery truck

The ideal candidate possesses some automotive industry experience, a passion for automobiles, or a very strong desire to learn about auto parts & auto recycling. This individual is also interested in working within a lively, fast paced & growing company, and demonstrates an interest to grow with their team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $650.00 - $1,500.00 per week
