Description
BHS Transportation Limited is a small family-owned business. Due to an increase in our workload, we need a delivery driver to delive goods to our customers.
Job Title - Courier Driver required, 1- 2 years experience preferred.
This is a Monday-to-Sunday role involving rotating shift work. It’s going to start with minimum 25 hours per week, and it will be full time in couple of months.
What will you be doing?
The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver our goods to customers, utilizing our fleet of vehicles.
Safe loading and on-time departure of delivery vehicles as required.
Safe delivery of goods to each of our customer sites .
Ensure deliveries are made in full, on time, and in accordance with our customer's requirements.
Ensure that the vehicle remains fit for purpose for the next day or the driverWhat you need to bring to us .
Be physically fit - frequent lifting of up to 25kg (Manual Handling Required)
Class 1 NZ licence
Ability to drive auto transmission vehicle Hold Clean driving and criminal record for MOJ check .
Driving experience preferred .
An understanding of warehousing & distribution .
Reliability, punctuality, and a clean criminal history .
Ability to work unsupervised .
