We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Team based in Wanaka as a Class 1 Delivery Driver. This is a full-time role, working Monday to Sunday with 1 or 2 days off involving loading, unloading, driving and delivery work.

No previous work driving experience is required!

This is a full-time, permanent position that will require you to work 30 plus hours per week with a minimum 30 hours of guaranteed work.

Hours of work: Monday – Sunday

(9.00 am to 12.30pm) ,

(12:30pm to 4.30 pm),

(4.30pm to 7:30pm)

To be successful, what we need :

A clean class 1 driver’s license (2 years driving experience under full license)

Excellent communication skills

Duties and Responsibilities :

Loading goods from Woolworth Store and delivering to various location.

Getting back with empty crates and unloading at Woolworth Store to the assigned area.

Prepares and maintains accurate transportation logs, vehicle fuel consumption logs, and other data as required.

Assists in moving and setting up materials, equipment, and furniture, as appropriate to the requirements of the position.

May perform clerical duties such as typing, making copies, and distributing mail as required.

Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Other Duties:

Taking the vehicle to WOF/COF if required.

Keeping us informed of the need for Road User Charges, Registration and maintenance required.

Ensuring the vehicle is kept in a clean and tidy condition.

Carrying out minor maintenance tasks, if required taking the vehicle to approved mechanic/garage.

Drivers license - Full Class 1
