We are a mid-sized commercial millwork manufacturer and have been serving our clients for 30 years. Located in Arnprior, ON, we are just ½ hour West of Kanata.
To support our continued growth, we are seeking to add a full time Delivery Driver to our team.
Role and responsibility will include
- Loading and unloading product at shop and client sites
- Maintenance and accountability for the delivery vehicle
- Coordination of various pick up and drop off requirements
- General cleaning and organizing materials
- Lifting and moving material and finished millwork products
- Helping on the shop floor when required
- Following shop safety standards at all times
The ideal candidate will
- Have a positive attitude and be willing to learn and improve their skills
- Be mechanically inclined
- Be physically fit, and able to lift heavy cabinets and millwork pieces.
- Possess a strong work ethic
- Interact effectively with co-workers and clients
- Respond well to feedback and be able to work with minimal supervision
- Have knowledge of the city of Ottawa
- Be able to work flexible hours, including early morning, late night and weekends.
- Be able to drive a 20 foot box truck around downtown Ottawa.
Candidates must be over the age of 25 with a clean driving record for insurance purposes.
Steel toed safety footwear is required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Experience:
- box truck driving: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
