Delivery Driver - Wellington Central

About the role

Based at our central Wellington branch, you will assist with all aspects of the delivery from picking customer orders from the warehouse shelves and loading the delivery truck, to arranging the despatch of our products, and delivering goods to our customer base and issuing documentation. Our Wellington branch is very close-knit, so you will have the opportunity to get involved in all aspects of the running of a plumbing merchant. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated. This is an active role that involves heavy lifting. There are excellent opportunities for advancement when you join the Chesters team!

What we are looking for

• A full NZ Class 1 driver's license with the ability to drive manual
• Forklift License (advantageous)
• Previous experience in the same or similar position (advantageous)
• A can-do attitude
• A friendly people person who enjoys going the extra mile
• Excellent communication and computer skills
• Strong attention to detail
• A team player with a great sense of humour
