Heart to Home Meals is located in the Forest/Camlachie area. This position may be ideal for the just retired individual.

Job Summary

• being an ambassador for Heart to Home Meals in delivering exceptional customer service to our senior clients.
• make deliveries in a timely manner and communicating with the office for delays or discrepancies
• customer confidentiality
• a dynamic pro-active approach to working with customers, quickly addressing their needs and ensuring any issues and challenges are resolved swiftly
• continuous improvements to working practices and efficiencies
• reporting health and safety, stock quality and mechanical issues

Job Type / Category

• Your day will start and stop in the Forest/Camlachie area - it will take you to London approx 7-9 hr shifts driving a refrigerated van and completing multiple deliveries in a safe manner

• you will load and unload your van at the beginning and end of each day
• debrief with office staff at end of each day to ensure all information about our customers is utilized
• undertake any reasonable requests from management

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

• must have a clean - valid "G" license
• a vulnerability sector check is required
• excellent verbal and written communication skills
• we are looking for someone who is empathetic, is patient and understanding
• must be able to follow a gps with multiple stops and are able to trouble shoot changes to the route if roads closed etc
• good attendance and time keeping
