Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail oriented Full-Time Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team at our Saskatoon location.
This position plays a key role in maintaining inventory, ensuring smooth warehouse operations, and supporting the distribution of products. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically fit, understands safety protocols and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Load, unload, and secure products to prevent damage during transportation.
- Inspect shipments for accuracy before delivery.
- Obtain delivery confirmations, signatures, and maintain delivery records.
- Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules efficiently.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Ensure compliance with transportation, safety, and hazardous materials regulations .
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the delivery vehicle.
- Report vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, or delivery delays to supervisors.
- Provide professional customer service and resolve basic delivery-related inquiries.
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments; ensure that all products are correctly labeled and stored.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory to ensure products are easily accessible.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently for shipment.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks using manual and powered equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the warehouse.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) in a safe manner.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies to management.
- Assist in the preparation of orders for dispatch.
- Support warehouse team with various tasks as needed.
Experience
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
- Comfortable working on your feet for long periods.
- Forklift certification is an asset but not mandatory (training can be provided).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous delivery driving experience preferred.
- Knowledge of local roads and navigation systems.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Candidates with experience in warehouse operations, aftermarket parts distribution, or delivery services are encouraged to apply.
