Due to continued growth, We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver at our premises in Togher, Cork to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for transporting, and delivering items safely and efficiently. If you enjoy being on the road and providing great customer service, this job is for you!

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Branch Manager and the primary role is to safely operate a company vehicle to deliver goods to our customers, the secondary role will be to perform warehouse duties when necessary and at the same time to learn certain skills that will allow the candidate to progress up through the company.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver goods on time
• Load and unload goods
• Provide friendly, professional communication with customers
• Ensure the vehicle is clean and in good working condition
• Assisting in the warehouse when required

Qualifications and Skills

The successful candidate must demonstrate:

• Van Driving Experience
• Warehouse Experience
• Excellent Customer Service
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
• Good geographical knowledge of the Cork area
• Be capable of being part of a highly motivated and driven sales team already in situ.
• Some knowledge of the electrical wholesale industry would be an advantage.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Forklift Licence (would be an advantage)
