The Opportunity

As Kami’s Demand Generation Manager, you’ll play a key role by driving pipeline growth through highly targeted, creative and data-driven campaigns. This role will see you develop and execute strategies that identify, engage, and nurture prospects, helping Kami connect with decision-makers and school systems across the globe. You’ll know our ICPs inside out, where to find them, why they need Kami, and how to work with sales to convert them.

You’ll collaborate with sales, marketing and engineering teams to align goals and ensure a seamless customer journey. From running account-based marketing (ABM) campaigns to measuring and optimising pipeline growth, your work will fuel Kami’s growth and help teachers and students worldwide unlock their full potential.

What You’ll Do

  • Demand Generation Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive demand generation strategy, driving demand and lead initiatives across all funnel stages.
  • Campaign Management: Own the relationship with our paid media agency for demand-gen initiatives. Work with them to develop highly-targeted campaigns, analyse campaign performance and identify new areas of opportunity.
  • ICP & Buyer Journey Optimization: You’ll know our Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) inside out by analyzing market data, customer behavior, and feedback. You’ll leverage these insights to map buyer journeys and align approaches with the needs of identified segments.
  • Collaboration with Sales: Partner closely with the sales team to align on key accounts, goals, and messaging. Act as a bridge between sales and marketing to optimize lead quality and conversion rates.
  • Account-Based Marketing (ABM): Deploy ABM strategies to engage high-value accounts with personalised messaging, leveraging data to prioritise opportunities.
  • Lead Nurturing: Work with our Marketing Operations specialist to design technical customer journeys and automated workflows that move prospects through the funnel, ensuring a consistent and seamless handoff.
  • Performance Analysis: Measure pipeline performance using key metrics such as MQLs, SALs, SQLs, pipeline growth, and ROI. Use these insights to inform future activity and forecast performance.
  • Innovation: Demand generation isn’t just paid campaigns and ABM. Explore new marketing opportunities and channels, such as sponsorships and partnerships, to stand out in the competitive Edtech market. Bring creative approaches to life that capture attention and drive demand.

About You

  • Experience: 5 years in a demand degeneration (or similar) with proven experience creating and owning demand generation programs, ideally in SaaS and international markets.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to design and execute personalised, impactful multi-channel campaigns that drive measurable results. Make use of frameworks like buyer journeys and ICPs to focus efforts on the right targets.
  • Technical Expertise: Familiarity with sales and marketing automation platforms including CRM systems (e.g., Zapier, Braze, Pipedrive, Salesloft).
  • Cross-channel marketing Familiarity: Adept at using paid, owned and earned marketing channels and tactics to identify, nurture and convert
  • Collaboration Skills: Proven success working closely with sales and data teams, and bringing together cross-functional teams to align goals and drive success.
  • Analytical Mindset: A data-driven approach to tracking, measuring, and optimising performance. Familiarity with marketing analytics tools such as GA4 and Looker.
  • Creativity and Curiosity: A knack for thinking outside the box and experimenting with new ideas.
  • Organisational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Global Perspective: An understanding of diverse audiences and how to tailor messaging for different markets.
