POSITION SUMMARY
Handle processes in the supply chain to effectively maintain appropriate inventory levels and service level to meet company objectives.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Control the company’s planning and structuring of the logistics operation for Bar-S Foods DSD network using internal techniques and procedures.
- Coordinates development and implements procedures to ensure appropriate coverage of demand in warehouses, while maintaining ideal levels of inventory and service level to clients.
- Functions as a point of contact between sales and production facilities (including co-packers) to provide timely communication, production, and delivery of customer orders.
- Functions as a proactive problem solver to evaluate current inventory levels and service levels to warehouses and implement strategy to improve performance if necessary.
- Demonstrate a strong service orientation, business analytics, and problem solving skills.
- Maintain SAP information of inventory coverage and control.
- Consistent and punctual attendance is an essential function of the position.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with materials, planning, and production
- Experience in SAP
- 2 years previous logistics and product management experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES (KSA’s)
- Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem resolution/solving skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines through sound project management, prioritization.
- Ability to understand complex technical information and business terms.
- Ability to communicate with others in an effective and concise manner
ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS
Work in an environmentally controlled office environment. Position may require overnight/air travel up to 20% of the time.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Sitting, standing, bending, stooping, for up to 8 hours a day.
