Job Summary:
The Demi Chef de Partie assists the Chef de Partie in the daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation, presentation, and hygiene. The role involves supporting junior staff, maintaining consistency in quality, and contributing to the overall success of the culinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and standards.
 - Assist the Chef de Partie in managing a specific section of the kitchen.
 - Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest quality.
 - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
 - Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the Chef de Partie.
 - Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of food items.
 - Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
 - Support and train Commis and other junior team members.
 - Contribute ideas for new dishes or menu improvements.
 - Ensure timely preparation and delivery of dishes during service hours.
 
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a DCDP or similar role in a reputable hotel or restaurant.
 - Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety standards.
 - Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
 - Good communication and time-management skills.
 - Culinary degree or diploma preferred.
 
Work Conditions:
- Rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.
 - Standing for extended periods.
 - Fast-paced kitchen environment.
 
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹14,351.94 - ₹25,000.00 per month
